Fire crews at Langwarrin in Melbourne, Australia got to save a tiny life recently.
Here's the story:
A koala was hit by a car and took refuge in a tree.
When they went to rescue the little critter...
In Texas, almost an entire heard of cattle died for an unknown reason.
It was just found out that the die-off was linked to genetically modified grass.
What's crazy is this genetically modified form of Bermuda grass has been growing on the ranch for 15 years.
They found the herd was poisoned by the grass because it was somehow producing cyanide gas!
Sounds just like The Happening. (If you haven't seen it, trees and grass conspire to kill people.)
Researchers don't know what caused the grass to suddenly create cyanide gas.
They believe the grass mutated suddenly, but they don't know why.
Cattle-killing mutant grass?
What's next? Thorn shooting rose bushes?
C'mon science, let's get this sorted out.
