Dun dun……..dun dun…..dun dun dun………any minute now!
The Greenland sleeper shark has been deemed the slowest moving fish (compared to size) in the sea.
But somehow, these predator still eat SEALS as a heavy part of their diet.
So how does a fish that only travels at the neck-breaking speed of 0.76 MPH get to seals?
By attacking them in their sleep!
Arctic seals sleep in the water to avoid being attack by polar bears. Unfortunately, that's where these sharks live too!
So it is true…sllooooooooow and steady wins the race!
