Blind Puppy Becomes Albuquerque Baseball Team's Mascot!

How sweet!!!!

The Albuquerque Isotopes have a new puppy but this isn't an ordinary pooch.

Stevie Wonder was adopted by pitcher John Ely when he and other players visited the Watermelon Ranch, a rescue center.

The poor dog had been wandering the streets with a badly damaged eye, and it was removed immediately when Stevie arrived at the ranch. The second was also infected and was already blind, so it was removed too.

That doesn't stop this baseball team from loving him!
