Dozens Of Stingray Attacks Causing Panic On San Diego Beaches

The summer months are roasting inland Californians like marshmallows so people are escaping to the beach.
But for La Jolla beachgoers, there's a new menace they're fighting….stingrays!
Due to shallow waves, stingrays are flocking toward the shoreline and they are getting scared. To protect themselves, they fling their tails and sting enemies, poisoning them in the process.
So far, 41 people have been stung and lifeguards are even setting up hot water baths to keep heal stung victims.
Lifeguards warn beachers to be careful and to scare off the stingrays by shuffling their feet.
Who knew dancing would a stingray's mortal enemy!
