Who knew crocodile are fans of nuclear physics??? LOLz!
The crocodile had dwindled in numbers throughout Florida but the Turkey Point Nuclear Power Plant canals have had a bevy of babies throughout the years!
The plant has hired biologists to monitor the crocodiles as well as tag them for tracking. Since the program started in 1978, the canals (used for cooling water) have had 5,000 crocodiles tracked.
Turkey Point has been a major contributor in helping the croc regain steam through the state!
We love to see conservation efforts rewarded!
