Tsk tsk tsk….we can't all get along?!?!?!
Atlanta PRIDE LUVs the Georgia Aquarium after their crazy party last year.
Now they want to re-up at the Aquarium and make it BIGGER and BETTTER…except there's one slight problem…
It's hurting the animals!!!
Marine mammals use sensitive sonar systems so loud that music tends to screw that up.
Jane Lynch wrote a letter to the Atlanta PRIDE direct, Buck Cooke, stating:
Many of the marine mammals at the aquarium are extremely sensitive to sound, and large parties create an even more stressful environment than they already endure in captivity.
Animals such as beluga whales and dolphins communicate with one another by means of an intricate sonar system. The excess noise disorients them, thwarts their ability to communicate, and sometimes causes them to attack one another ….
Given the animals' extreme sensitivity to noise, the aquarium does not seem like an appropriate venue for such a large and festive gathering.
The best way to handle this situation: The Georgia Aquarium says no and doesn't allow the next party.
These animals need their peace and quiet!
