See! Sharks have friendly sides too!
Toakai Teitoi took his brother-in-law, Lelu Falalie, out to sea for a fishing trip celebrating Teitoi's new police officer status.
The Marshall Islands natives had plenty of food but little to drink and after being lost at sea May 27, Falalie died of dehydration July 4.
A storm hit the next day, giving Teitoi 10 gallons of water to help him survive. On September 11, Teitoi woke up to a six foot shark circling his boat!
The shark swam off towards the direction of a nearby fishing boat, who just so happened to be eyeing the ship through binoculars.
Teitoi was rescued and returned home to the islands.
Wow!!! Sharks to the rescue!
