Newborn Dies After Pit Bull Attack

So sad…

A Dallas newborn babe has died after being mauled by a pit bull.

Police responded a 911 call when parents Barnett Bruce and Jessica Oxford started to get physical in their argument.

Bruce's father was holding baby Rayden Bruce in his arms at the time and the officers seperated the parents to retrieve statements from them.

When the three month old fell asleep, his grandfather laid him in bed and went to talk to his son.

That's when strange noises were heard from the room and when the grandfather returned, the baby was under attack by the pit bull.

Barnett Bruce grabbed his son and paramedics were called. Unfortunately, little Rayden died at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth.

The pit bull is now being held in quarantine.
