Fire crews at Langwarrin in Melbourne, Australia got to save a tiny life recently.
Here's the story:
A koala was hit by a car and took refuge in a tree.
When they went to rescue the little critter...
Sometimes, even the Big O can't save you…
Angel's Gate hospice, located 60 miles south of the New York's capital, Albany, is shutting down due to legal issues.
The animal care center has been praised by Oprah and other celebs in the past, but Angel's Gate CEO and owner, Susan Marino has been naughty with her taxes.
The latest tax return filed by Marino was in 2008. Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says the hospice has taken in hundreds of thousands of dollars and hasn't reported any of it.
Things began to go downhill after PETA posted an undercover video of the shelter. Critics have also called Marino a self-promoter and a hoarder who didn't adequately care for her rescues.
Sad…we are especially concerned about the poor animals still at the shelter.
We hope they find new homes…
