There is nothing like the helplessness of watching your pet suffer.
Michael Jarboe took a United Airlines flight from Miami to San Fran with a layover in Houston.
He decided to take his beloved Mastiff, Bam Bam, who has been on flights before.
He felt assured that his dog was safe due to United Airlines' PetSafe program, which guarantees air controlled areas THROUGHOUT the trip.
This means A/C in vans, the cargo hold, the works… Bam Bam was supposed to taken care of completely.
Sadly, much like Maggie Rizer's golden retriever, Bea, the Mastiff did not make it to San Francisco alive.
Now Jarboe wants answers. The airline provided a necropsy which determined Bam Bam died of a heart attack and his death was unrelated to his transit.
Jarboe called BS. He has refused to accept compensation and wants the airline to be more clear and reasonable when advertising the program.
