Yesh!!!! We just became BIGGER Dodger fans!
Dodgers pitcher Josh Beckett has gone to war with owner of a pipeline company that is endangering the ocelot population.
The habitat, located in South Texas where Beckett lives, is crucial to the ocelot's survival and Eagle Ford Shale bulldozed a stretch of land on Beckett's 7000 sq. foot ranch, ignoring federal law in the process.
There are only FIFTY (50!) ocelots left in the States and the Environmental Defense and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is working with homeowners to improve the habitat to reintroduce more of the wildcats.
Sad….we just wish this bulldozed land wasn't part of the problem.
