It's been ten wonderful years of blogging and we can't get enough of it!
So much has changed, and looking back the one big thing in our life, the one major constant, has been our faithful companion:
We love you, Teddy!!
Sleep?!?!?! We don't need so stinkin sleep!!!
Researchers have found out that dolphins are swimming machines who can swim for two straight weeks.
Dolphins are not super huge fans of sharks so they are always on the lookout for the giant predators.
Marine biologists have studied the dolphin brain and they believe that these majestic creatures can sleep with "half of their brain." And they can actively "switch" which part of their brain they want to rest.
In fact, researchers at the National Marine Mammal Foundation in San Diego state that if they didn't have this ability, they would easily drown or become easy targets!
The Foundation tested two dolphins, Say, a female, and Nay, a male, and their biological "sonar" ability, echolocation. Dolphins emit clicking sounds to scan their surroundings and communication.
Soon, the biologists hope to test dolphins and their problem solving skills during "half-sleep."
Wow…dolphins are waaaaaay too smart. Luckily they aren't trying to take over the world!
Or are they….
