It is always ahmazing to hear how courageous and loyal dogs are, especially those in the military.
Theo was one of the bravest pooches in the British military, and today he received the highest honor a service dog can receive.
The Springer spaniel was posthumously awarded the Dickin Medal as he died the day his handler, Lance Corporal Liam Tasker died as well.
Tasker died in a firefight at 26 years old and Theo suffered a fatal seizure later in the day.
The soldier's mother, Jane Duffy, believes Theo died of a broken heart. She states:
They'll be watching us, and they'll be so proud. I just wish they were here to get it themselves.
So do we…and we want to honor all the fallen soldiers and dogs in every military!
Congrats, Theo! You've earned it!
