Do Dogs Feel Guilt?
You've probably already seen this video (in fact, we know you have!), and this pooch is sooooo guilty!
But do doggies really feel guilt?
Researchers don't think so.
When you've caught your pooch being naughty and they avert their eyes and pin back their eyes, it may just be a ploy to avoid a scolding.
In wolves, guilt is a social behavior and helps them communicate and avoid conflict.
It may be the same in dogs, but their interaction is mainly with humans so it's hard to tell.
We think they do! Just look at that guiltiness!!!! GUILTY!
