Oooooh….Marion Cotillard…you in trawble!
The French actress stars as an animal trainer in her new flick, Rust and Bone, and scenes in the film show captive killer whales.
Now many animal rights groups are asking patrons to skip out on Rust and Bone and they are appalled that director Jacques Audiard would use performance animals in the movie.
Even Marion had her reservations about her role, stating:
I had to work through my rejection of this world, which I still feel. But I had a job.
She also recounts a scary situation with one of the whales:
There were two whales and the first one went kind of mad at me. It was the only time I was really scared and freaked out, even though I knew that the glass was totally secure.
The whole crew was behind me, so it wasn’t the usual show for her, and she screamed at me with her jaws wide open. I got really scared.
