Deny, deny, deny, DENY! What else can Peter Jackson do?
The Hobbit director continues to deny PETA and animal wrangler claims of animal abuse and he didn't pull any punches during a press conference hours before the New Zealand premiere.
Jackson calls PETA "pretty pathetic" for its actions, as he states the animal rights organization is seeking publicity.
Those is some fighting words!
Overall, Jackson's mood is dampered by the negative buzz. He states the following:
At the end of the day we’ve made a movie we’re extremely proud of. So many people have worked for so long, it will take a bit more than that to spoil the event.
So far, there is still no word whether New Zealand will seek action against the producers of The Hobbit.
Stay tuned, folks!
