Earlier this year, a Shih Tzu named Dora was rescued by designer and architect Robert Couturier, and since her story was inspiring, the ASPCA is remembering her heartening tale!
Dora was rescued last holiday season with an injured tail and almost starving, but as soon as Couturier took her into his loving arms, her whole persona changed.
“She slept in my arms the whole time on the way home. It was as if she could finally sleep, and that she knew nothing bad was ever going to happen to her anymore.”
Awwww! The best part is that not only did she get a new home and a new owner, but she also got three new brothers and sisters since the designer already owned three other Shih Tzus!
This has to be the story of the year because it's so darn moving!!
Ch-ch-check out Robert and his Shih Tzus (above)!
