Animal rights activists are furious with the monkey experiments being done at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and because of their anger, a debate was called and is being led by Jane Velez-Mitchell.
The tests that have the activists in a frenzy are being performed on Rhesus Monkeys. During the experiments, the babies are taken from their moms at birth and are then put through several observations that whip up fear or anxiety.
But that's not even the worst part. Once the tests are over, the monkeys are killed, dissected and their brains are studied.
With this horrifying mess going on, Miz Velez-Mitchell is going up against the Director of the Research and Animal Resources Center, Eric Sandgren and Madison's Rick Bogle.
And what's making this discussion inneresting is that Wisonsin's Alliance for Animals is debating both sides of the verbal fight.
Want more deets?!? Ch-ch-check out the short clip (above), and don't forget to watch the full battle tonight at 7pm ET on HLN.
