Steve Hughes works in Utah as a construction worker and it was his turn to bet on the same numbers in the lottery that they've all used for the past 13 years.
He stopped for some gas and left the keys in his car to keep his dog Stella all warm and toasty, but when he returned he found his dog had put its paw on the door's button, and locked him out of the car!!
He managed to coerce the dog into putting its paw on the window that allowed him to open the window while his girlfriend went and bought them a lottery ticket from the gas station. He had planned to go somewhere else for the ticket.
It turned out to be fate, though. That lottery ticket earned him and his co-workers second prize in the Idaho Powerball.
After splitting the winnings and after taxes - they will all earn about $20,000, and all thanks to one disobedient but good intentioned doggy named Stella!
