Animal With DISPOSABLE PENIS?!?!?!?

In honor of Valentines Day we thought it would be appropriate to share one of the most romantic stories we've heard all season.

Scientists have discovered a sea slug called a Chromodoris Reticulata that literally DISCARDS its penis after copulation, and subsequently grows a new one.

Now that's what we call the look of love!!!

"No other animal is known to repeatedly copulate using such 'disposable penises;. {It is} extremely peculiar."

We'll say!

24 hours after it discards its penis, the amazing critter can unroll a brand new penis!!

The scientist continued:

"We propose that the tissue at the spiral part of the penis is compressed and undifferentiated, gradually differentiating into the 'next penis'. It may need approximately a day for the spiral structure to be ready for copulation."

Now that's one heck of a trick!
