How horrifying!

We just mentioned that Beyonce got some custom-made PMK kicks manufactured with stingray, ostrich, calf hair, crocodile and even anaconda, and now her hubby, Jay-Z is following in her cruel footsteps. Literally!!

The rapper tapped PMK to put together some Jordan 1's made out of alligator, boa, ostrich, crocodile, stingray, calf, lizard and ELEPHANT skin.

HOVA's footwear got dubbed the Brooklyn Zoos, and hit for a cool $2,500.

The MC is sooo proud of his exotic shoes that he even posted a pic with the comment "Condos in my Condo."

We cannot believe that Bey and Jay would do something like this because it's definitely NOT right.

Animals should NEVER have to die for the sake of fashion!! UGH!

    These two have completely lost touch with reality! I feel sorry for them and their baby.
    I'm sick of all these celebs not caring about animals dying for their fashion. I can translate my disgust,by not spending any more of my hard earned money on their music. I hope other's do the same and then maybe they may get it through their thick heads!

    I love elephants, and am astounded at anything that might create a demand for their skin.
    They have families, matriarchs, babysitters, hierarchies, and they GRIEVE openly at the death of one of their group, and they pay ritual condolences to the years old bones of elephants they used to know before that elephant died. No elephant skin sneakers for me.

    Re: jesus – And you're incredibly ignorant. Unlike people such as yourself, there are people that accept responsibility for being top of the food chain. Instead of completely depleting the planet of stock for our own consumption, some of us care about preserving species that we both eat and do not eat. I have no problem eating animals and fully support using not just its meat, but it's hyde and anything else beneficial. If you're killing an animal, at least make full use of it.
    We eat meat to survive and we have a right to do so just as any animal in the wild does. The difference is wild animals eat what they need to eat. They don't gorge themselves like we do; I'll be you wont find one obese wild animal unless it had some sort of human intervention.
    I do not, however, support endangering any species. Elephants are a protected species and not only are they being poached for their hyde and tusks, they're not killed for food. It's purely in the name of vanity that they are hunted.
    If anything, the species that needs a cull is the human species. Our morals just don't allow us to. The earth if far too overpopulated and not only is this planet suffering as a result, we are too. Do the fucking research and stop being so ignorant. I don't care if you don't care about any of this, just don't expose us to your semi-researched drivvel.

    I really don't see the big deal. I think animal skin is bad ass to wear. Sure were not in the stone age, but who wants fake skin? My partner's Dad works with animal skin for boots. He uses ostrich, alligator, crocodile, sting ray, and snake skin. And his stuff looks incredible. Stop being to sensitive. You act like you dont' eat meat. Same thing.
