Justin Bieber's Pet Monkey DETAINED In Germany!

| Filed under: Music MinuteWacky, Tacky & TrueJustin BieberPetsMonkey

So apparently, Justin Bieber's luck with animals is about as good as his luck with spitting, Selena Gomez, and birthdays!

Which pretty much again confirms that the pop sensation is pretty much having the WORST 2013 EVER!

His latest drama?

His pet capuchin MONKEY, which according to reports, was seized as the Biebs arrived at the Franz Josef Strauss Airport in Munich, Germany after customs officials realized he and his team did not have the proper documentation to bring the animal into a foreign country with him!

According to Thomas Meister, a spokesman for the customs office:

"Justin Bieber brought his monkey to Germany, but had no official paperwork with him. We were forced to confiscate the animal."

From what we can gather, Justin brought the furry little guy with him on his private plane, but now, he's stuck in quarantine until his owner coughs up the fine money - and the costs incurred from having to be detained!

What, did they just ASSUME it was okay to illegally travel with an animal as exotic as a monkey?

Not smart, guys! NOT smart at all!

And SO unfair to put a scared, confused animal in that position!

Time to learn the lesson that not everyone - ESPECIALLY AIRPORT SECURITY - is going to give you special treatment, boo!

You know what else isn't smart, giving a young pop star a freaking exotic pet…that poor animal deserves a good life, I hope the Germans are smart enough to return it to a wildlife sanctuary or an animal reserve.

why would anyone give this kid a monkey? he couldnt even handle a hamster. he just going to pass this pet off to a random someone too?

Im surprised that of all the people travelling with him, no one thought this would be a problem. I guess they just dont want to bite the hand that feeds them. Enablers to his reckless and 'above the law' ways.

It should be illegal to own exotic animals. A year or so from now, we're going to read a story about how this monkey bit someone.

    Re: cheesuschrimbus
I wish we were able to do that. But as far as i know. we're not allowed to just "steal" the monkey from him to return it to the wild if it's not proven that the animal is FROM the wild. it might be an exotic animal but it is not given that the monkey could survive. I imagine it was bred in captivity and sold to douchbag celebrities and people with too much money and not enough regard for the welfare of animals.
If Justin doesn't cough up the money the monkey will be taken in by the Munich Zoo where it'll join the other monkeys in their enclosure (or non enclosure as some are allowed to roam the trees relatively freely)

The stupidity that this boy turd exhibits is endless. When is his mother going to take him aside and tell him to grow up. By the way? Which one is the monkey in the picture?

Those monkeys are trouble and have dangerous diseases!

Justin…. please get a GRIP of yourself… you are spinning out of control

    you don't need a monkey…. geeeze

help some kids somehow… the ones in hospitals that can't come to your shows!

A monkey is not a pet. It should be at a sanctuary. I don't understand why people aren't happy with a cat or dog. Then again I wouldn't want Beiber to own any animal. What a mess he is now.

The story should be his management is trying to create the next MJ. It all looks like the journey MJ took ( unusual behavor). It's all a set up to try to recreate a new ledgend but there will always only be 1 MJ>

Re: cheesuschrimbus – Thank you, I agree!
I know of a few places in the Yucatan area, but do not think they handle that kind of monkey. Spider monkeys are more common in that area. Not sure if they have that type of monkey in Costa Rica either.

What on earth is it with Canadians and their pet monkeys. First the fashionably dressed IKEA monkey and now the Bieber monkey. I didn't even know that he owned a monkey. He shouldn't. He'll probably end up giving it away to some fan after a concert like he did with his pet hamster.
