Perez, the monkey wasn't stuck, the problem was Bieber wasn't being mature. If he didn't want to keep the monkey he should have told the government he was relinquishing the monkey to their care and throw some money their way. Instead he ignored it and continued to act like the douche he is.

Ian… I love you so much more now!!! Justin is a douche for so many reasons but on top of my list for leaving his poor monkey behind!! Animals are mistreated all the time and he will be no exception. I wish we could let Germany hold Justin for us and let us forget him there!!!

@Rose Ian has a very busy life. Part of his life is being an advocate for animals etc. through his own foundation. Justin needs to grow up. Pets are not to be used as an accessory only to be abandoned when someone loses interest. Not cool what he did to that little animal, he should not have taken him out of the country.

Justin isn't going to respond. He has never shown that kind of maturity or retraint. Props to Ian for calling him out. Ian's one and only concern has always been animals, which is more than we can say for this poor Monkey's so called "owner." This Monkey is better off in the care of Zoo officials who can properly care for it.

#irony on# Allegedly Justin will cover George Michael's US Billboard No. 1 song "Monkey" due to its lyrics. Then he'll follow George and comes out. #irony off#

How can he respond? The animal's welfare was NEVER in Justin's best ineterst, he olny cared about himself and having a "cool" pet. If he had CARED about the animal he would not have let it sit in quaratine 2 months! He knew he was abanding it the minute it got taken away form him and it was going to require work to get it back! It is too late for Bieber to set a good example on this matter. HIs comment will be….drum roll please…"I'm 19! I make mistakes…." His standard canned answer for thisyear. Next year it will be "I'm only 20!"

Re: Rose – Ian runs an animal foundation, it is part of his life to be concerned for the well being of animals… maybe Justin should get a life and not drag a poor animal around the world that should be in the wild not on the shoulder of some child star to look "cool"!

    Re: Amanda

That little immature boy did not "do all he can" to get that monkey back because if he did, he would have gotten back from the German authorities. No, if this kid can rent out stadiums, he sure as hell can shell out $17,000 and the proper paperwork. They took it from him because he didn't have the paperwork to begin with and was just going to take the poor animal all over Germany with him illegally. He decided there were other things he could do with that 17 grand so he just LEFT it there by INACTION. Then stupid PETA had to go and praise him, and for what? Trying to illegally smuggle a capuchin into another country then not pay the fines and not contact the government holding his supposedly beloved monkey so that they keep it? That's not a heroic act like PETA is putting out, that's failure to act. SMH.

Justin's management has already responded to the call long before the media buzz off more news. Initially, they have requested for an extension for the monkey to stay longer while responding to the requirements for the monkey's release. When they realized that it would be best for them to donate the monkey to an appropriate group who could best care for the monkey due to its young age, they decided to release the papers of consent for the German government to take charge in assigning it to the best care facilities. The only thing the Justin's management have to do now maybe is to pay them the amount of money they have spent for taking care of the monkey, if they send in a receipt or expense claims.

    Re: Skates – Exactly!
He decided to leave it there, because it was going to get better care.
All the media knows is that the was a Due Date to Justin getting his monkey and immediatly assumed that he left the monkey there because he doesn't care!
German officials themselves had advised Justin to leave the monkey with them, they even said so to the media.
Perez quoted a German official saying so!

  16. 16

Justin Bieber setting a good example and caring about something other than himself? Next joke please! The boy thinks he's capable of doing no wrong.

  17. 17

What a wonderful man Ian is, LOT of respect for him because even if he is young, hot, famous and rich he CARES and is an animal activist. JUSTIN BIEBER SHOULD LEARN FROM HIM. Stupid and irresponsible kid with his pets (monkey, hamster…). To be young is no excuse" Ian is really young too!

Ian Somerhalder is a bad boy type (let's be honest), what I don't get about REAL bad boys is how they don't straight up say Bieber is trying to mimic them; Bieber is a poser (specifically of Chris Brown), that's why he squints his eyes, trying to create an intensity real bad boys have. I guess the actual bad boys are too embarrassed and don't want to be linked to a b*tchass posers like Bieber, lol
