It's been ten wonderful years of blogging and we can't get enough of it!
So much has changed, and looking back the one big thing in our life, the one major constant, has been our faithful companion:
We love you, Teddy!!
A teenager in Vancouver, Canada saved the life of his family's 9-month old Labrador, Daisy, after a cougar attacked the defenseless pup!
Levy Sadler was practicing music in his room when he heard his dog shrieking.
“I heard blood-curdling sounds. I look out my window and there’s this huge cougar.”
Levy jumped out of his bedroom's window and ran screaming at the animal! The cougar, who had the puppy in its mouth, dropped Daisy and initially ran away, but returned as Levy had taken ahold of the pet.
Levy then said:
“I turned to the left of me and it was five or six feet away. It jumped and the claw of it just barely missed my ear.”
At that point Levy's father saw his son and the cougar, and yelled at his son to get back inside. Levy followed the orders, and watched the cougar "glare" at him before stalking off.
We're so glad that Levy was able to save his pet pup without getting hurt himself in the process!
Daisy has required over a hundred stitches, and also has more than a dozen puncture wounds, but is expected to survive.
All thanks to its loving teenaged owner!!!
