Fluffy Cows Are The Cutest Things EVER!!

Fluffy Cow

If you were to combine a cow and a teddy bear, we're pretty sure you'd get these guys.

Fluffy cows aren't some special breed or anything, they're just well groomed cows.

Just like dog shows, there are livestock shows and these cows compete to win!

These cows are fluffed up and styled for about two hours with a blow-dryer, hairspray and oil to make them shine.

Phil Lautner of Lautner Farms had photos of his cows plastered all over the internet and was actually a little surprised at how crazy people went for his beautiful bovines.

Talking about his fluffy cows, he said:

"Those cattle are pretty, and they’re tame. They’re so fluffy-haired; I’m sure a lot of people would like to hug them like a teddy bear."

We wanna hug them like a teddy bear!

Where can we find these cows??

We want a fluffy cow to ride around and hug and just play with all day!!

Too CUTE!

The show cattle and club calf world is little little known but very popular. My parents operation isn't nearly as big as the Lautners, but we even have a "cold box" that we keep our cattle in in the summer so they stay cool and keep those nice coats on. It's basically a big refrigerator that the cattle hang out in during the day. Our cattle get bathed and blow dried twice a day everyday. It's a ton of work. Can't leave town unless you have someone to watch the cold box and clean it throughout the day and in the winter you're on the road to shows. It's not easy and they're not for someone whose just looking for a pet.

Showed dairy for years(these are beef) and my kids show now. Its a lot of work and money. We ALL compete to win:) Love my cows and love being in the ring.

Re: @v@ – I am old enough to remember when beefers looked more like dairy and my great grandparents angus herd were just as tall and almost as lean as our ayrshires. Its a great thing and I love being a part of it all. Its just sooo expensive to show.

Re: Victoria – I can't believe they get bathed and blow dried 2X day as poster #1 stated. My brother in law raises large herds of beef cattle, and calving season is pretty much around the clock. I've worn the long glove, lol, and helped back when he dehorned but didn't like that much.
