19 Kids And Counting Star Derick Dillard Causes Uproar With Video Of Him Purposely Trying To Run Over A Cat While Sledding!
PETA is not going to be happy about this!
He captioned the clip:
Whoa! That slug is SUPER pink!!
It's kinda funny but does anyone else find this slug waaaay less gross because it's pink??
They literally are only found in the sub-alpine area of Mount Kaputar National Park, in New South Wales, Australia.
These slugs also only really come out after a big rainstorm, so they're super crazy rare!
A park ranger from the area said:
"It's just one of those magical places, especially when you are up there on a cool, misty morning. It's a tiny island of alpine forest; hundreds of kilometers away from anything else like it. The slugs, for example, are buried in the leaf mould during the day, but sometimes at night they come out in their hundreds and feed off the mould and moss on the trees. They are amazing, unreal-looking creatures."
Even though locals have only seen them for years and it's only recently been scientifically identified, it's believed these slugs have been around for millions of years!!
Even though they're all slimy and alien-like, we kinda want a giant pink slug! LOLz!
