It's been ten wonderful years of blogging and we can't get enough of it!
So much has changed, and looking back the one big thing in our life, the one major constant, has been our faithful companion:
We love you, Teddy!!
Aaron Armstrong, of Waldoboro in Maine, has been charged with aggravated animal cruelty after he allegedly shot a dog dozens of times with a BB gun!
Luckily the dog, a black lab named Lady, survived the incident and has been adopted. The doggy began its new life with its new owner this past Wednesday.
Here's what the animal's doctor said:
"It wasn’t just another little lump. You could feel something that was hard and round, and it felt like a BB, so we decided to take an X-ray. There are BBs everywhere. There is one pellet and multiple, multiple BBs."
Somehow none of the BB pellets injured the dog in a permanent way, and the vets do not believe they'll have to remove the BB's.
Here's what Lady's new owner said:
“She’s a lucky dog. I mean, she doesn’t have any eye damage as the vet said, and she doesn’t seem to have any organ damage, so I think she’s going to have a wonderful life. She’s very lucky. I think I’m very lucky."
We hope the man who did this horrible deed will pay for his crime, and justice will be served.
As for the dog - Lady - well, we think they should add another word to her name.
They should call her Lady Luck, because she sure was lucky.
And we're so happy she's in safe hands now!
