Riley the dog is a bit of an adrenaline junkie.
How do we know this?
Because he followed his owner into an airplane... and then followed his owner out of that airplane before it landed!!
This is just TERRIBLE!
A poor police doggy died of heat stroke after being left in a patrol car in Woodstock, Georgia.
The 3-year-old Belgian Malinois dog, Spartacus, was hanging out inside his handler's patrol car, which was parked outside his house.
That's so sadddd!
A Woodstock Police Department spokesperson said:
"The K9 handler is currently on administrative leave with pay pending the outcome of an internal investigation. After the retirement of his first police K-9, who is now a family pet living with the K-9 handler, the handler is devastated by the loss of his second police K-9."
It's not known why the car was parked at the man's house or how long it had been sitting there.
Why couldn't he just take his doggy inside with him?? Or at least go check on his pup??
We hate that this dog had to die and hope his handler is punished appropriately.
RIP - Spartacus
