Where's Sam Neill when you need him??
A team of badass paleontologists have found a giant dinosaur tail in Mexico! Why is this news? It's in almost PERFECT CONDITION!!
The best part is that the 50 vertebrae are believed to be a full dinosaur tail in the northern desert of Coahuila state — so there's more to come! They only have HALF of the beast uncovered so far, which was 36 feet long and lived about 72 million years ago. So freakin' cool!
The tail is about 15 feet (5 meters) long and is probably from a hadrosaur or crested duckbill dinosaur, but it's not yet possible to confirm the species! Either way, it's the first tail from a species like that found in Mexico!
Dinosaurs were REAL! We're just glad we don't have to deal with them nowadays!
