Kelly Rowland Prayed For Safety While Lost On Whale Watching Trip!

Kelly Rowland did not have a whale of a time during her last time at sea!

In fact - we're quite sure she had the opposite!

The talented lady was out with her buds watching whales when things suddenly got scary, and they suddenly found themselves totally lost!

In fact, according to Kelly, things were looking a little desperate out there!

"[We saw] no more shore, no more land, we're seeing no more of the buoys, no more of the boats passing by – it's just in the middle of nowhere, so we realized that we're lost. I remember thinking to myself, 'Lord, please don't let this boat capsize. Please let us get to shore in one safe, sound piece. I just want to see tomorrow."

Kelly tried her cellphone but realized she had no bars! So she used her prayer phone and called in a special favor!

Here's what she said:

"I was like, 'Please, Lord, give me two bars. He gave me two bars and we contacted some folks that were on land and they helped us."

We guess God is a Destiny's Child fan, too! Cause she totally got those bars and called in some help! Even though the journey back was scary still!

Here's what she said:

"The waves coming in were like 5 to 10 feet high and the boat was only a 27-foot boat and it felt like forever to get back to shore. They arrived at the dock at 11:47 p.m. – more than 10 hours after they realized they were lost."

Luckily Rowland is safe and sound now!

Although she admits she won't be getting on a boat for a "very long time", but honestly we don't blame her!

We wouldn't want to go out to sea again for a while either!

Glad you're safe lady!!!

Yes, we took the case, they had no idea what they were doing or anything. They followed some boats out and then got lost. its funny that she said some people helped her when we the coast guard responded to them on the radio and they were extremely rude everytime we were trying to pinpoint exactly where they were at.

Re: jessica – Wow I believe you, have only called on the Coast Guard one time when our water intake got plugged with seaweed a bit north of San Diego, and we had to sail back once from Catalina in almost 60 foot seas.
I just do not understand this story.
