The life of a Royal seems like it's less a life in the lap of luxury and more a life constantly in the spotlight.
Things must get pretty stressful, but Prince William has a pretty healthy coping technique.
He doesn't hit the bottle, he listens to animal noises on his iPhone!
The Prince has loved Africa all his life, starting with amazing stories of adventure told to him by his mother Princess Diana.
So the sounds of Africa, the noises of the animal kingdom, help to calm and center him.
"I regularly daydream. Africa is definitely one of the places I go to… I have hundreds of animals on my iPhone. So if I am ever having quite a stressful day… you can put a buffalo on in the background or a cricket. It takes you back instantly to the bush. And it does completely settle me down."
That sounds beautiful! So great he has such a simple way to escape from daily stresses.
It brings him to a comfortable place, where he can be himself. He said:
"It's escaping to a kind of different world where I am just who I normally am anyway, and I can let that side, that sort of slightly immature, silly person come out a bit more than I normally do."
A silly, immature royal?? We'd like to see this side of William!
Maybe someone will take a boom box to his next public appearance and blast some animal noises and watch the Prince get all silly! Say Anything style! Ha!
