Three men from Ketchikan, Alaska, Jason Vonick, Nick Segal, and John Oakes, spent nearly four hours saving a stranded killer whale!
The fishermen sprung into action, anchoring their fishing boat and bringing a smaller boat out onto the rocks where the orca was stuck.
They eventually used their oars to free her!
"As soon as we realized we actually could move her a little bit, we just did what we had to, really grunt, groan, and put some sweat into it… And we did it."
So glad these men were there and were compassionate enough to take a chunk out of their day to save the whale!
Check out the video (above) to watch them keep the whale nice and wet as they waited for the tide to come in.
