It's just too bad it's not an underwater giant dragon or something, but rather an unassuming sea slug that kinda looks like her blonde hair!
The new species was found near Northeast Brazil, and has landed the name Tritonia Khaleesi, after Daenerys Targayen from HBO's Game of Thrones, played by the gorgeousEmilia Clarke!
The creature apparently only measures up to about 12 mm in length and has seven pairs of tiny branchial plumes — the same white/blonde of the Khaleesi's hair!
What's even funnier is the specific category this sea slug falls into, called the 'nudibranch', because of how often the Khaleesi and other characters are nude on the show!
Here's what the founders said:
“The strand of silver on the back of the slug is reminiscent of Khaleesi's braids of silver hair, especially in the last episode of the first season of HBO's 'Game of Thrones'. Besides its silver color, the species is one of the smallest sea slugs, just as Khaleesi is described (in the books) as small and juvenile.”
The team behind A Dog's Purpose is definitely trying to save face ahead of its Friday release date.
As you've probably seen by now, footage showing an animal trainer shoving a visibly frightened German Shepherd into turbulent water on set has been made public by TMZ. In addition, PETA has since called for a boycott on the movie.
While Ellen DeGeneres has since spoken out with the film's star Dennis Quaid to defend the movie, so has the A Dog's Purpose's producer.
