Why Is Jennifer Aniston Refusing To Visit Japan?? Her Answer May Surprise You!

| Filed under: Jennifer AnistonAnimal RightsDolphinsAnimal Cruelty

Jen Aniston won't travel to Japan because of how they treat dolphins!

Jennifer Aniston may be an international star but there is one country that she won't be gracing with her presence anytime soon…

It's Japan!!

No, she's not still harboring some weird resentment left over from WWII…

She hates their treatment of dolphins!!

An inside source close to Jen said:

"Jen travels the world to promote her films, but there’s a strong exception … and that’s going to Japan. She doesn’t allow herself to be contractually required to travel to Japan because of that country’s policies toward fishing and specifically the treatment of dolphins. She has vowed not to go to Japan until the country’s policies change."

That's amazing! She believes in something and is taking a stance on it!

We wish everyone felt the same as her!

We could destroy Japan's tourism industry until they are forced to stop killing dolphins!!

Let's all join Jen against Japan! Save the dolphins!!

It is a very honourable gesture on her part.

But if she cares will she boycott Mexico too, for the numerous human rights violations ?

From January 2007 to mid-November 2012, Mexico’s National Human Rights Commission reports 109 cases in which it found that members of the army had committed serious human rights violations, and received complaints of 7,350 military abuses. (from Human Rights Watch website)

Journalists, particularly those who have reported on drug trafficking or have been critical of security forces and authorities, have faced serious harassment and attacks. From 2000 to July 2012, 82 journalists were killed and 16 moredisappeared.

Its easy to boycott something you will never use or somewhere you will never go, its no hardship. Sometimes you need to start closer to home.

Yet she going to be staring and producing a movie with chinese financing, funny case whale and dauphin hunting happens in China. Not to mention Smartwater, Aveeno and Living Proof are all sold in Japan. So she ok with profiting from the Japaness market but not visting it.

She also ok vacationing in Mexico whis is known for numerous human rights violations and is friends with uncle Terry.

For her sake I hope this story about her not going to Japna is untrue because she comes off as a BIG hypocrite which will not help the cause.

Aniston’s rep has denied that she will not travel to Japan to promote her films. He called this story a “complete fabrication.

    Olivia,

So, she should take on EVERY issue? I applaud her for taking on ONE serious issue and highlighting atrocities of dolphin massacre - they have NO voice on their own. They cannot protect themselves - they are mammals not humans.

Please don't generalize a whole country. That's a very ignorant thing to do. Not all Japanese people agree with the slaughtering of dolphins and putting blame on people who have nothing to do with it does not make sense.

Well done, I immediately thought that when I saw the title of this story

My neighbour is working part time and averaging $9000 a month. I'm a single mum and just got my first paycheck for $6546! I still can't believe it. I tried it out cause I got really desperate and now I couldn't be happier. Heres what I do, , MONEYJURY.COM

    Re: Jbo

No of course she cant take on EVERY ISSUE but she choose the EASY one hahaha
shes a joke! But hey, she loves her margaritas in Mexico, we all know that Aniston only cares about HERSELF. Thats why Perez loves her today, now he has money and "fame" and is as superficial and a snob as her. Perez the Celebrity Butt Kisser

Kudos to her, but I'm confused. If she's so concerned about the treatment of animals, why is she the spokesperson for Aveeno, a company (or subsidiary of one) that conducts animal testing? It's like Ellen, who is a vegan and talks about animal welfare, but is a spokesperson for Cover Girl, a P&G subsidiary.

For those of you who think she's generalizing, I believe that because she is a celebrity she will have more influence on her decisions and therefore even though she knows not all japanese people are slaughtering dolphins, by not going to Japan and make public her reasons, she may actually change the policy. Or at least start a bigger movement. And at least she's doing something to change the world. Good job Jen!

Does she go to China where children work for practically nothing? That's perfectly fine I guess, but OH MAN, do something to dolphins and you're in big trouble lol

  13. 13

I don't see her movies because I've never cared for her.

This is just plain dumb. I don't understand how ignorant you have to be to openly say this. All countries kill animals in a matter that's hurtful to them- BY KILLING THEM- so why is she just against Japan? I think this is literally the stupidest post ever.

Re: OLIVIA JONES – OMG… You people. I don't really like her, but i'm a big animal lover and for those who are claiming that there are human rights violations in mexico and children suffering in china, THOSE ARE IMPORTANT THINGS, but why are animals less important? Why should she care about those things first? Animals are innocent creatures, and they're being killed and tortured by mankind every single day. If you deffend your cause, that's awesome, but you don't have to make jokes about "being in big trouble if you mess with dolphins", instead pf being here posting negative comments just because a famous actress is supporting a good cause, you should be trying to help those causes!
