Cat Who Trapped His Owners In Their Bedroom Has Now Been Taken To An Animal Shelter — But This Story May Have A Happy Ending After All

Lux the Himalayan cat who trapped his owners is now in an animal shelter :(

Remember that 22-lb Himalayan cat named Lux that trapped his owners in a bedroom and forced them to call 911???

Well, his Portland owner Lee Palmer and family have decided to ship him off to an animal shelter.

The cat had attacked their 7-month-old baby, which prompted the dad to kick Lux, which made him even more aggressive - something that all cat owners should know is a no-no.

Even though they've sent him to the shelter, which is NOT a no-kill shelter btw, they've said that "they are wrestling with the decision to keep the cat."

Here's where things are shaping up though. My Cat From Hell's cat whisperer Jackson Galaxy has vowed to help the cat and come in and help the family with dealing with Lux's aggression problems and the way they handle them. The show doesn't start until April though so until then, Lux's fate is up in the air.

The shelter has said that they haven't put him up for adoption just yet though and have said that "adoptable animals are given as much time as needed to be placed in a home or to be transferred to one of our community adoption partner agencies" so there's always that good news.

Good luck and god speed, Jackson and Lux!! We just want the little furry guy to have a fighting chance!
