Miley Cyrus Breaks Down On Stage & Hugs Giant Inflatable Floyd! Watch Her Perform An Incredibly Emotional Version Of Landslide In His Honor!

| Filed under: Music MinuteMiley CyrusSad SadDogNoah Cyrus

At the Boston stop on Miley's Bangerz Tour, she kept breaking down and hugging a giant inflatable Floyd!

We feel so so so sad for Miley Cyrus!

We previously mentioned that Miley Cyrus' dog Floyd passed away and it was absolutely awful. She and Floyd were best friends; he was clearly the dog she was closest with.

She had already apologized on twitter to her fans in Boston in case she wasn't herself during her Bangerz Tour show there.

As it turns out, though, she DID do the show! During the soundcheck she even sang an amazing tribute to Floyd by covering Fleetwood Mac's Landslide.

It was one of the most emotional and haunting covers we've heard. It was a beautiful tribute.

She's been so terribly sad, tweeting:

She was alright during the concert until a gigantic inflatable Floyd came out on stage. She broke down, unable to cope. She ran over and hugged the giant inflatable dog while her sister Noah came on stage to console her.

Noah came to her side several times to support her and it was so super sweet, like during her cover of the already sad song, Coldplay's The Scientist:

We feel so sad but are seriously so proud of her! She's so strong to get through her concert like that. Thankfully she had the support of her fans and family to help her through!

We love you, Miley! Stay strong!

Check out the video (below) to see her emotional cover of Landslide.

Ok, talk about using the death of her dog as another way of getting sympathizers. That just sucks. When you are honest you mourn your dog at home before hitting the stage where you have to act like the professional you are. There was no need for the inflatable dog on scene. This is just Miley Cyrus being the unprofessional she is. Sorry !

  2. Laura says – reply to this

I really do feel for you and im so sorry for your loss :( I lost my lil Lola about 5yrs ago and she was my favorite too… its hard because she was like my best friend and its hard to see my life without her in it sometimes but over all you will be fine hun… i know you dont see it right now but you will… you are a strong young woman!

  3. 3

Tbh unless you're an animal lover yourself you're in no place to judge her.

Re: chillax62 – oh shut up!!!! judgmental ass. when you mourn, it doesn't matter where u are, u will mourn regardless. ugh you irritate me

Re: chillax62 – I went to her concert in Tampa, the dog is actually a part of her show, it's a prop, so seeing the prop that's ALREADY set up for the show probably triggered her emotions. I have four dogs and the thought of losing any one of them and then going to work, where I work with PUPPIES all day, would be extremely hard. Give the girl a break, she lost her dog, she could have easily cancelled her show and apologized, but the girl came out and did her best. Let her break down, she's allowed to mourn anyway she wants. Don't be so quick to judge her if you're not going through the exact same thing. You're not sorry so don't add some bullshit "sorry !" at the end, you clearly are biased and don't like her. She's not trying to get sympathizers, I don't even like Miley Cyrus, I went to her concert cause I got a free ticket, yet I can see how hard it is for her. She's very vocal about the love of her dogs.

  6. 6

Oh Puhleeeze!! going bare ass with thigh high boots on Stage is not 'Mourning " her dog, show a little respect for the dog assH…

  7. 7

:( so sad. Although singing sad songs and putting an inflatable version of her pup probably just made it worse for her. her dogs are her babies.

Re: Laura – you know what…you suck. She was a professional who went and did her job. Maybe you havent lost anything in life, and maybe when you do, you'll understand. If you dont like Miley thats fine, but leave her the fk alone already. I see your mother didnt teach you properly, if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say it. Peace!

This girl has had like 3 young dogs pass away while under her care. She needs to stop being such a shitty person and shitty pet owner. The SPCA needs to take a good long look at how she is treating and taking care of these animals.

  10. 10

Does anyone know what happened to the dog?

Re: chillax62 – why do you need to hate on a person so much? Does it help you go to sleep or something? People who gone to that concert are lucky to witness miley being a real person and i would to love to see her like that

  15. wanker says – reply to this

If my dog died, I would be out of commission for some time. Inconsolable. I have no respect for this girl, but I do feel terrible about the loss of her dog. Thats horrible. It's even more sad she used it to her advantage. But whatever, she's a class opportunist. to each their own I guess.

  16. 16

Re: who cares – I wonder about that too. Miley is a very busy girl - she is on tour right now, so obviously she is not home a lot. I wonder who's looking after her dogs?

  17. The Doctor says – reply to this

I want to know HOW this dog died. It was very young still! How is she killing all these animals? I don't get it. I can probably keep a goldfish alive longer than she can keep a healthy young husky alive. get your sht together, girl

  18. fafa says – reply to this

why s&m style when she was "crying", for her dog, she miss her dog !!!

  19. chillax62 says – reply to this

@UDon'tKnowMe Oh shut the fuck up pos! What do you know about mourning? Do you want to talk about mourning? Let's! I'm mourning a man who died in a horrible explosion after saving 152 lives in 2012! He was a hero! He was brave! But did i use that as an excuse to gain favor? NO! I mourn his brutal death with respect and i'm not trying to gain anyone's favor or use the press!
had a dog that died that people loved! But did i go all public about it? Non!
So fuck you for being the judgmental freak yourself. but don't you come on here telling me i irritate you cause i m stating FACT about your Miley Cyrus! Get a life b$$$$

  20. chillax62 says – reply to this

Re: Smiler – And ey, there is no way i'm hating on this chick so don't come on here saying what i did not say! I m simp lying stating the fact that if she respected her dog that much she should have mourned in silence and not use that as an excuse to gain sympathy! Where is the hate here? You fans need to get some kool aid!
And fyi, i do sleep perfectly well, thanks.

  21. chillax62 says – reply to this

Re: Michelle – And i see your mother did not teach you to turn you tongue in your mouth seven times, neither did she teach you to wipe them shades on your eyes before typing shit under the pretext you are a fan of Miley Cyrus. Oh i swear hearing you or reading you raher, you do not know what mourning is. I know what it is to mourn perfectly, thanks. So don't come on here assuming people talk out of the blues. So yes my mother taught me well to not be a fake ass and show the world my misery. So go get some extra education before coming on here to bitch about a girl who doesn't even know you exist. Duh!

  22. chillax62 says – reply to this

Re: taylorxx – Then i wonder what you'll do if you actually lost someone you loved. Lol. Please give me a break! This has nothing to do with liking Miley Cyrus or not. It's just stating fact. So to all you Miley fans going cray cray cause someone speaks their mind, better stay off the internet, else get real and let people express themselves as they want! i in no way insulted her, just calling a bull a bull! jeez!

  23. annie kindle says – reply to this

poor miley girl im sorry for your loss and now hes watching over you and I no how it feels to loss a best friend so im here and praying for you best of luck to u girl

  24. UDon'tKnowMe says – reply to this

Re: chillax62 – you're using the man who died to prove a point to me that u don't flaunt his death for attention but you're doing it now. Either way your opinion is a non factor bxtch. Have a nice day!

  25. taylorxx says – reply to this

Re: chillax62 – I lost my grandfather on January 6th of this year, so don't tell me I've never mourned because I have. And as I stated, I am not a fan of Miley, so I'm not "going cray cray cause someone speaks their mind." There is a way to give an opinion without coming off classless like you are. You were completely wrong in your assumptions, as you assumed she was trying to gain sympathy by putting a giant inflatable floyd on stage, but that was already part of the show and had been all tour. You in no way insulted her? Calling someone unprofessional for letting their emotions out less than 24 hours after a death of their loved one, is not insulting? You assume she's using the death of her dog to gain sympathizers, that's not insulting? It's down right rude, you don't know the girl, so you're not stating any facts here. She had time to mourn at home, and that doesn't mean she's going to get over it in a span of two or so hours. Have some heart.
You just fucking said it "let people express themselves the way they want." Is she NOT expressing herself the way she wants?

  26. chillax62 says – reply to this

@UDon'tKnowMe: Biatch i'm proving a point to you who said i don't know what it feels like to mourn! Was that too brutal for you? Awwww poor thing. So stfu, get a life or get off your computer and go help mummy instead of talking about shit you don't know. :)

  27. chillax62 says – reply to this

@UDontKnowMe: so it's normal for Miley to do the "I m mourning" on stage and when someone else does it you say they are showing off? Damn now talk about being a perfect hypocrite! How does that sound? goes to show everyone can pull that stunt but people with a minimum of respect keep their sorrows where it's supposed to be.

  28. Sarbear says – reply to this

Re: Franidani123 – How about you be quiet? Wouldn't that be better for everyone? She tried her best okay? She was feeling down because she lost the best dog in the world and now its gone. You can just be quiet and "Puhleeeze!!" yourself away.

  29. chillax62 says – reply to this

Re: taylorxx – So what the fuss? Sorry to hear you lost your grandfather, but duh… be serious for a minute. That's what everyone's doing on here so quit with the hypocritical way of thinking. If i wanted to insult her I would have used "Insults". Miley is not know for her professionalism, and that is not news. Everyone to their own cup of tea. You folks are the one making assumptions, not me. So once again please don't come telling me Black is blue and White is yellow. Stick to you convictions and i'll stick to mine. Thanks.

And before anymore of you Miley fans tell me about how insensitive I am… get out of your homes, leave internet and see what's happening in the world. Then maybe y'all will have something really worthwhile to talk about, and just maybe you might end up doing something good, for a change. As far as i'm concerned I'm done with your childish wails. More grease to your elbows "Smilers". M-D-R!

  33. taylorxx says – reply to this

    Re: chillax62
I'm not thinking in any hypocritical way, I unlike you, am looking past who she is as a person and what she is known for, and sending positive vibes her way instead of accusing her of being an attention and sympathy seeker. That would be the KIND thing to do. It is insulting, sitting there talking bitterly about someone whom you don't even know, that's insulting. If I just assumed that you were attention seeking for the comment you posted about who you lost, and accused you of being an attention seeker and tell you to keep those type of comments home because that's "internet courtesy" or some bullshit, I'm 99.9% positive you'd be insulted. You can give your opinion of something without coming off as a huge jackass. Do you not notice, you're the only person whose comment is getting argued with? No one else is … So clearly, it's not me telling you "black is blue and white is yellow", if it's more than one person coming at you, the chances are, it's probably you. So I'm not telling you that, I'm telling you, you have a right to your opinion, but when someone is going through a loss like this, it's A. better to keep it to yourself, of B. if you must comment and share it, find a better way, because you just come off rude and disrespectful. "Thanks."

Re: Franidani123 – Cos the dog probably didnt already see her butt naked getting ass rammed by a bunch of g-unit members on a daily basis.
The dog might even have died after swallowing some of her drugs that she keeps taking pictures of and is just laying around the house.

  35. 35

The dog was just 3 years old and too young to die. Did Miley say what the cause of death was? I'm curious to know.

Re: chillax62 – I think you've never had a dog, and if you did, you have no heart (no offense). Loosing a dog is something as bad as when you loose a member of your family, because dogs are also members of the family. After saying this, I'm gonna add that the inflatable dog on scene wasn't just something she did in that concert, is part of the Bangerz Tour. You can say 'There is no need to put that inflatable dog on scene either way!?' Well, she loves him then… Why should'nt she? It's her concert, her tour… then, her bussiness, not yours. And I'm gonna finish this saying (again) that loosing a dog is just like loosing someone of your family. If when somebody of your family dies you are able to forget it in one or two days… Well, I feel bad for you.

  47. Rescue the Innocent says – reply to this

The Society for prevention to Cruelty to Animals should intervene and investigate Miley Cyrus. She is seldom home to provide any care or love to her adopted animals and she has clearly professed to use of illegal mind altering drugs. Peyote and Molly are illegal. One of the pets she raised violently killed another animal in her home that was placed under her care The vicious bull dog was sent off to another family for them to deal with the problem. A short 18 months later another young pup under her care mysteriously dies with no explanation. Quit pitying the irresponsible brat and help rescue the innocent animals.

i know if any of my animals passed i wouldnt want to be here, alive and i would have cancelled the shows her baby just died and your saying thats unprofessional and a stunt? go to hell. you obviously dont know how it feels to lose someone who means absolutely everything to you. maybe if you did you'd understand what shes going through like i do its not just an animal its her baby she treats them like they're a children you need to understand that and put that into consideration also how do you know it was her idea (the inflatable?) even though if i had the chance to do that for one of my past animals then i would and you dont know how he passed so stop being insensitive

Re: Laura – The inflatable dog has been part of the show since day one of the tour. I lost a dog last year and I didn't mourn at home it. The best thing I could do was to go out and talk about it, it really healed me. Everyone mourns differently so take your shade and shove it up your ass. I'm not even a Miley fan, but you just need to worry bout your life and let her heal.

  52. Leg Lifts says – reply to this

Surprising the bitc$ that is Miley Cyrus did not pee on the inflatable statue to mark her territory. It would have been much more appropriate had the inflatable lifted its leg to pee on Destiny Hope for providing the type of care that resulted in the its death. NO, SHE HAS NOT PROVIDED ANY INSIGHT OR REGARD for what caused the death of the dog she supposedly rescued from death. The death of two dogs in 18 months is a travesty and of course the PR machine that is Miley Cyrus tries to USE it to her advantage. She is not home and is out partying and using drugs and encouraging our youth to do the same. Floyd and Lila deserved more from a sad sack that made out with them constantly for the camera. Without a camera, Miley Cyrus would be nothing. With a Camera, she can shove it up her legs and make all kinds of $$$ and silence what all of Hollywood and the Music World is thinking. Immense Kudos to Anna Wintour, Liam Hemsworth and Putin for treating Miley as something best kept at a distance. I highly doubt that Floyd had a favorite song. Floyd was just doing his best to survive. Sadly he did not. .

Katy Perry went on and acted like a professional when her marriage was dissolved over a text. I understand it's sad but she needs to stop using everything for attention. Mourn in silence and do you job. I had to go to work when my dog died, saw people walking dogs from the window. Regardless I did my job, went home and cried and then worked again the next day.

  55. 3 dogs gone Dogonit! says – reply to this

Re: rosebud99 – Nope Rosebud. Miley has not bothered to tell the truth about how Floyd passed. She is too busy accumulating pity and attention. The last dog that died after she rescued them from death was killed viciously by another dog that Miley raised. Her mother claimed it was innocent play. Since when is it innocent when a little dog is killed? Miley has a pit bull in her pack and they are notorious for killing little dogs and children. It could have been another pack kill. Who knows. For some reason, Miley aint spilling the beans. Speaking of beans…….could sweet little Bean be next?. Some dog owners are in denial and oblivious to putting their dogs in danger. Sad that Ms. Destiny Hope can find the time to perfectly manicure her privates but couldn't find the time to keep two of her rescued pets alive for long at all and sent a third animal killer animal away for others to concern themselves with. Stay home Miley and get professional help with your dogs or get your innocent dogs a new home. They deserve far better.

Re: taylorxx – Indeed Highly Miley is expressing herself as SHE wants. Her crotch is everything and she whips it out and puts in front of close up cameras every chance she gets. Its sings even. Wow are you impressed? She is high as a kite and believes that she can provide good care to the rescue dogs she abandoned in order to place her pubes front and center. Are you impressed?????? The dogs are both gone but her pathetic crotch prevails. Hugging an inflatable will not satisfy her. But then again…………….maybe it does. The real dog died at Mileys house just like the other one died just 18 months ago. Props are props whether they are alive or not.

  58. sorrymileygirl says – reply to this

I'm sorry, since when does a dog have to old to die? Anything could have happened. Don't call her unprofessional because she also has human feelings. She loves her dogs, she wouldn't hurt them. Anything she does people get mad about it or insult her so her staying home and not going to the show would piss people off. For all we know she brings her dogs with her or has someone take care of them. Looking a pet might not seem all that horrible to you but to some people it is.

  59. Megan says – reply to this

Re: chillax62 – I disagree with your comment. Yes, there is a need for singers, actresses and others to be professional. However, what you fail to realize is that they are human. There is a time and place to be a professional and there also is the reality that people feel emotions. Maybe the inflatable dog wasn't necessary and yes seeing Miley not being able to get through a song is sad. But Miley is only human. She is a 20 year old girl. She lost an important member of her family. Everyone handles death differently and how she chooses to mourn is entirely up to her. To judge someone's way of mourning is unfair as you do not know them personally. Miley is clearly going through a difficult time and her fans are there to support her. She is only human, she experiences sadness and I think having people understand and support that is more beneficial then bringing her down.

Cyrus has proved that she does not have the ability to provide love and good care to domestic animals. The dogs she rescues from euthanasia are in reality dying when placed under her care. They ferociously attack other dogs or get eaten and killed by other dogs. The world is told how innocent it is while she reaches for attention and pity. Cyrus has not commented on how badly she feels for the dog but makes her suffering and need for pity repeatedly clear. She has provided no explanation as to how her second rescue pup Floyd died only 18 months after the first one. THAT says ALOT!! Animal Rescue Organizations will confirm that frequent deaths of dogs in a home is a telltale sign of abuse and that most abusers are in denial and believe that the dogs are lucky to be with them. Thank God for the multitudes of pet owners that provide a wonderful giving relationship to their animals. Sadly however, abuse does exist. Especially among those with unresolved mental issues which are based upon extreme self centeredness. Obtaining multiple animals without being there to care for them properly is considered abusive. Petting or sleeping with a dog once every month or so and making out with it in front of cameras is not indicative of quality care.

She did not want to disappoint her fans for cancelling the concert, maybe being at home is harder for her because she is alone, along with all of floyd's things. Yes she has the other dogs, but Floyd obviously meant something to her!!! So cut her some slack, and you be a human being!!!!!

why isn't anyone saying what happened to the dog? Usually somewhere in the story is the 'what happened" part. This dog looked pretty young. How come they are not telling us what happened?

It's a dog. They only live 11 years on average. Next time, buy a tortoise. They live about 75 yrs.

Chillax62, huh? That's totally a name that suits what you just said.
Sure, some people can hold in what they want to let out, but she's a human being. She's supposed to mourn and feel upset and hurt when she loses someone dear in her life. So does everyone else, who do you think she is, a robot?

  87. Angel says – reply to this

Re: chillax62 – Go fuck yourself! The damn dog was in all the concerts before he passed away. She is human, she doesn't have to be "professional" she doesn't have to go to court and tell if someone is guilty or not. that's not her job, she is a singer and part of being in that is to be yourself and so you need to rethink.

This babe is an AMAZING live performer. She loved that dog so much as to build a giant prop like that? Her hurt must be as big as that prop. Losing a dog is the same as losing a person. I've seen my employees mope for weeks because things dying around them. Imagine having to be on a stage in front of 1000's of eyes during moments of personal loss? Talk about a fish bowl.
Re: chillax62 – I cant leave the internet. I'm connected to it at the umbilical cord. Its how I earn my living. And I already know whats out there in the world. Death and despair.

Re: chillax62 – You're a a fucking asshole, I hope you know that. People like you are so fucking jealous it isn't funny, like is your head shoved up in your head?

I'm no fan of Miley, but at least I'm not a fucking ass. How is she trying to have "sympathizers" her dog died the day before this concert, and she didn't have her dog with her on tour. Of course she's going to be fucking crying, losing your dog, cat or any animal is one of the worst feelings, it's like someone cut you open and ripped your heart and lungs out and threw it away. My sister who's 24 owned a bunny who passed away, and she couldn't stop crying and couldn't get over it.

I volunteer at animal shelters, and my best friend is a vet who I help out, and you don't understand how fucking hard it is to see an animal being put down.

I have lost my own dog before due to hip dips, and every time someone brings up his name, I fucking cry, it's one of the hardest things ever.

    You're a fucking asshole, d-bag.

Re: Franidani123 – Please shut up. She's an artist, she doesn't pick her outfits, she doesn't choreograph anything, that isn't her fucking choice. She has to wear those costumes. This is what "Bangerz" is all about.

She has to perform like that because of the fans, she's being pimped, do you not understand how the industry works?

Who gives a fuck what she's wearing it's part of her show, she still has emotion you assface.

  96. JJ says – reply to this

Re: who cares – First of all, she rescues animals you dumb asshole. One of her dogs she found was a puppy left outside and fucking abandoned at Wal-Mart.

She helps animal shelters and works for animals, she supports anyone who helps animals as well and appreciates it. She has teamed up with rescues in the past. She has rescued ALL of her dogs.

Her dog was NOT under her care at the time, she was on tour, you ignorant prick. How is it her fault when her dog wasn't with her while she was on tour? She wasn't allowed to bring him with her. These dogs are rescues, I hope you know that.

God you people are so ignorant. Her dog was an Alaskan Klee-Kai a VERY new breed, which is rare, they have a LOT of health problems. There are only approx 1,500 Alaskan Klee Kai's in the world, people are unaware of the breed and the health issues. They have health issues like cardiac, patellar, and thyroid issues.

You're a fucking asshole who knows nothing about dogs. And her other dog died unexpectedly due to health issues, Floyd her other dog she wasn't even with died unexpectedly as well, obviously because of health issues.

Dumb fuck, educate yourself on dogs.

  97. Taylor says – reply to this

Miley's other dog died because Ziggy got to rough.

Floyd is an Alaskan Klee-Kai they have a LOT of health issues, they don't live long, they have a lot of health issues, it's a very rare, new, unaware breed.

Her dog wasn't even in her care at the time, she was on tour idiots.
Cut her some slack, losing a pet is fucking hard as fuck.

Re: Props – The dogs are under the care of her younger and older sister, as well as her mother. I'm not impressed, I've clearly stated I'm not a fan, and I don't pay that much attention as to what she does. So you're sarcasm really isn't amusing, babe. Lola died when her other dog, Ziggy, an english bulldog, bit the dog in the neck. Lola was a small Yorkshire terrier, playing or not, whether or not it was an act of aggression or an act of play, it could've easily injured and or killed the small dog. I don't care what Miley does with her life, or how she choses to portray herself, thats not the point of my argument or of this article. The point is she lost a dog, no one deserves that, and regardless of whether or not you like her, every human deserves respect when they lose a love one, be it humor or dog, she deserves respect and not your or chillax62's ignorance and arrogance. Leave her be, let her mourn. Who are you to judge her? She clearly lives a better life than you and it's making you bitter? Be happy with yourself and do something productive with your life instead of spending your time spreading negativity.

I know how she feels last month I lost my dog that I had for 14 years. I was 2 when I got her and 16 know. She was my best friend and she was the only thing that I had regardless what I been through. I miss her so much and I know time makes it feel better but even a month later it still doesn't feel right without her.
