Man With Late-Stage Alzheimer's Lost His Ability To Speak… Until THIS Happened!

| Filed under: Sad SadHealthMental HealthFamilySickDogAmazing

A man with Alzhiemer's lost the ability to speak, but when the family dog came around? Something amazing happened!

Alzheimer's is a disease that's seriously hard to cope with.

It doesn't just affect the sick person, it affects everyone around them. It's an awful disease that steals a person's soul.

When Lisa Abeyta's father's Alzheimer's progressed far enough, he lost the ability to speak.

That must've been so hard. Not being able to hear your father say he loves you, let alone recognize who you are.

She discovered something amazing though. When around the family dog… he could speak!!

She caught this incredible moment on video.

Check out the video (below) but maybe have a box of tissues handy, just in case.

I was trying not to cry but I couldn't help it. I remembered my grandma…my relatives who lived with her kept saying she doesn't make sense anymore when she talks and hardly do talk…when I went back to our country and visited her, I spoke to her the way I used to and she started talking and reminiscing…she was repeating some stuff but you can talk to her normally…my relatives just didn't want to give her time…I miss her so much but I know she's in a better place now.
