Pit Bull 'Ace' Saves Sleeping Deaf Boy From A Massive House Fire — How He Did It Is Amazing!

That's right! Puppy to the rescue!

A 2-year-old pit bull named Ace rescued his deaf owner when a fire started in their Indianapolis home.

13-year-old Nick Lamb was home alone and fast asleep without his cochlear implants in when Ace started to notice something wasn't right.

Instead of barking, Ace had to get Nick's attention another way. Nick explained:

"My dog licked my face and woke me up. I was like, 'Stop it! What? You want to be fed?' I thought he wanted to be fed or go outside."

That's AH-Mazing!

It's crazy that Ace was so in touch with Nick that he knew barking wouldn't do the trick!

Firefighters still aren't sure what caused the fire, but the family does believe it started in the garage.

And there's even more good news! The family's cat, Pixie, was also rescued by firefighters and is expected to make a full recovery.

The homeowners, James Bernard and Lindsay Bernard may have lost their home, but thanks to Ace, they didn't lose Nick too.

For every bad pitbull, there's a dozen like this one. They're so smart, and they got the nickname "Nanny Dog" for a reason. If stupid people would stop screwing up the breed, these beautiful creatures would have more chances to shine. Glad the kid's ok…and the kitty too.
