These divers don't call themselves Shark Addicts for nothing, and their obsession with the beautiful and scary animals led them to do some serious good deed work!
Cameron Nimmo and Mickey Smith were recently diving in the waters of Jupiter, Florida when they came upon a silky shark that was in some serious pain!
The problem? It had a fishing hook in its, get ready for it, JAW, and so the divers decided to help the gorgeous creature out.
They quickly flipped the shark upside down which made it go into a state called tonic immobility, where the shark just doesn't move for about fifteen minutes. This gave the divers enough time to get the hook out.
We guess tonic immobility doesn't count though when a sharp object is peeled out of your mouth because no sooner had the divers gotten it out that the shark took off like a rocket!
Even though this is and looks super dangerous, diver Nimmo for one doesn't care about that at all! He said:
"I love popping the hooks out. There is some danger there but the last thing I'm thinking about it getting bitten - I just want to get the hook out. We love sharks so much and want to be around them as much as possible."
Since the shark left them alone, we guess the shark loves them, too!
That's how sharks show humans love, right? By not mauling them, ha!
