It's been ten wonderful years of blogging and we can't get enough of it!
So much has changed, and looking back the one big thing in our life, the one major constant, has been our faithful companion:
We love you, Teddy!!
We can't handle this!
A two-headed dolphin was discovered recently on Turkey's west coast and it was a 29-year-old gym teacher named Tugrul Metin who found it!
And he, like the rest of the world, could not believe it!
"I couldn't take it in at first — I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me."
A professor named Mehmet Gokoglu was bestowed the honor of being able to eventually examine this freaky and unusual animal. Right now all that it is known about the dolphin is it measured out to be about 3.28 feet and is estimated to have lived to be about a year old. It is only the fifth known case of conjoined twins in the dolphin species and the third to have lived past the fetal stage. Mehmet Gokoglu had this to say:
"Such a dolphin is a very rare occurrence — similar to the occurrence of conjoined human twins."
The thing is we've heard of conjoined human twins before, but never have we heard of some conjoined dolphin twins!
Guess you learn something new everyday!
