Aww, see! Chivalry ain't dead!

James Franco, who may play an incredibly creepy perv in Spring Breakers, is a true gentleman in real life. Just ask Lindsay Lohan!

Somehow word got around about Lindsay's sexual advances on Franco back when she lived in a popular WeHotel, and Howard Stern made sure to question him about it on Monday's SiriusXM show!

After Howard asked James "you turned down sex with Lindsay Lohan, didn't you? Back then when she was a lot hotter?" James replied with:

There is at LEAST once a week that we're thanking the powers that be for Howard Stern!!

It seems like he's just automatically the kind of person that can get any info from someone, like James Franco for instance. He's been pretty tight-lipped about his Oscar hosting flop. Leave it to Howard to get him talkin'!

Here's what James said said:

For the second time in recent years, NBC is allegedly making moves to push Jay Leno out of his job on The Tonight Show once his contract expires in 2014, with possible replacements rumored to be Conan O'Brien Jimmy Fallon and Howard Stern!

And, as to be expected, the long-running talk show host has been stamping his feet and calling out the dastardly studio bigwigs at any given opportunity in his opening monologues…and last night was no exception!

In fact, he goes so far to even publicly acknowledge the bad blood between he and the execs, even if he tries to cushion it with a joke about the Carnival poop cruise!

WHAT?!

We've been SO excited hearing rumors of Jimmy Fallon being bumped up (when Jay Leno is bumped out) and Howard Stern taking his place that something like this didn't even enter our minds: Howard WANTS THE TONIGHT SHOW!

We all know that Howard was playing us for a fiddle last week when he joked about the rumors and not being able to talk about them legally… and then dropping the bomb that it would pretty much be an insult to him to take over for Jimmy because he already makes 10 times the money!

Well, you could totally chalk what he said this morning up to being more jokes, but there's a certain something there that rings a little true too! Here's what he said about taking over The Tonight Show instead:

If you didn't know that the Tonight Show wasn't shot in New York, then you probably don't care a whole lot about how awesome it'll be to have Jimmy Fallon hosting… with the show right back in the Big Apple!

If you DO care, this news couldn't get more exciting!!

The show started in 1954 in NYC, so having it come home alongside a major shake-up with the host feels right. Though there's no firm deal in place quite yet, Jimmy HAS been promised the seat is his — we just need to hear if Leno is out sooner rather than later!

The only problem with this is that we've been through all this before, with Conan. Hopefully they don't screw Jimmy over too! LOLz!
