Nothing says getting over a breakup like adopting a pet. Right??

Well, she basically slammed it, just not in its entirety!
Taking to her private Instagram on Sunday, the 35-year-old reportedly wrote:
"I felt embarrassed and sad. And old. We're getting old. But in all seriousness; I felt sad because music is supposed to inspire. It saved my life. This trash won't save any kids life… In a world that is even scarier and with lives still worth saving, who will stand up and have soul? Disenfranchised to say the least. Let down by my industry and peers. Beside Macklemore and Pharrell and Bieber(pre-sob fest) and The Weeknd, Tori Kelly was dope too. The rest was gross and embarrassing and hard for this aging pop star to believe."
So early Friday, Pink finally apologized.
She took to Twitter to write:
This. Was. Everything.
The dynamic duo graced MTV with a live re-enactment of the video for their latest single, Downtown.
Macklemore strolled through the streets outside the awards show, re-creating the memorable music vid almost shot-for-shot. This even includes vocalist Eric Nally making his grand entrance on a chariot of a giant eagle head!
And rest assured, there were PLENTY of mopeds. Ch-ch-check it out (above)!
Forget Uptown Funk! Macklemore and Ryan Lewis prove that Downtown can be just as funky!!
Earlier this month, the hip-hop duo released Growing up, an emotional track that served as a tribute to fatherhood. But their new song Downtown is an all out party anthem!
Macklemore's second single is an upbeat ode to the city streets, and the funky retro track definitely sounds like the spirited follow-up track to their smash hit Thrift Shop!
Ch-ch-check out the Downtown music video (above) and watch Macklemore & Ryan Lewis perform at the VMAs Sunday at 9 on MTV!
It's about time!
Well, MTV changed all that on Tuesday by releasing the identities of six additional acts who will be joining Miley Cyrus on stage this Sunday!
So who can we look forward to blowing our minds??
New music AND a new baby!
On Wednesday, Macklemore (Ben Haggerty), revealed that his girlfriend, Tricia Davis, had given birth to their first child on May 29.
The singer dropped the happy news while simultaneously debuting a new song featuring Ed Sheeran called Growing Up. So exciting!
In the emotional post, Ryan detailed his struggles of the past year and how he's GROWN (get it?!) since. The Seattle native credits his firstborn as the reason why he's in a better place, personally and professionally.

With a lot of success comes a lot of pressure.
And after Macklemore had such an incredible year in 2014, he admitted he fell off the wagon a little bit. The recovering addict and his musical partner, Ryan Lewis, had won several awards and their songs were dominating the charts.
But, the 32-year-old explained that the attention and new, crazy lifestyle caused him to recently relapse and get back into drugs, specifically marijuana and pills:
"I held it together for a while. But, eventually, I stopped going to my 12-step meetings. I was burnt out. I was super-stressed. We weren't sleeping — doing a show every day, zigzagging all over the country. In terms of the media I was getting put into a box that I never saw for myself. The pressure and the fame — everything. All the clichés, man — like not being able to walk around, having no privacy, and from this TV appearance to this TV appearance, and the criticism, and the lack of connection, and the lack of meetings — all of that put into one pie was just…I just wanted to escape."
But one day, his fiancée, Tricia Davis, found some drugs he had been hiding, which forced him to press pause on his using habits, at least for a little while. But unfortunately, he explained, it didn't last very long:
"I sat in a car, a hot boxed car — I thought that was a good idea — and got high. And then the next day it was like, ‘What's up with the weed?' And once I'm there, it's over."
As much as he wanted to stop, the rapper revealed he just couldn't convince himself to quit:
"You know, like, Monday, I'ma stop…. OK. Tuesday, I'ma stop…. OK, f—k it, I might as well go on to the weekend. Sunday, I'm done. But after this bag of weed…"
It even began to invade his professional life:
