Eva Mendes Shares Her First Red Carpet Look! You Won't Believe How Cheap Her Dress Was!

| Filed under: Fashion SmashionEva MendesRed CarpetInstagramNostalgia

Eva Mendes recalls her thrift shopping days.

About fourteen years ago Eva Mendes made her debut on the red carpet during The Others premiere in LA!

As a newbie Hollywood starlet, the actress had to do her own hair and makeup, and her dress was from Goodwill for only $6!

Ryan Gosling's lady shared the above throwback pic on Instagram and reminisced about her early days in the industry, saying:

"The debut of my latest @nyandcompany collection has me throwing back to my first red carpet. I did my own hair and make up and that's a $6 dress from Goodwill. I've always loved a cheap find. Viva thrift shops! #tbt"

Viva thrift shops, indeed!

We don't know where she got those brown slingbacks, but we wouldn't be surprised if they were also from Goodwill.

It's awesome to see how far the 41-year-old has come since that day in 2001.

In addition to pretty much only wearing designer brands on the red carpet, she has her own clothing line!

But unlike the borrowed designer gowns she wears herself, her collection with NY & Co. is affordable for the average person!

We guess we have Eva's love of thrifting to thank for that!

In the sequel series, Hayden Fox will be called out of retirement to be the assistant coach to his own son!

David Hasselhoff Stopped By American Idol To Perform A Ridiculous Medley For '80s Night!

| Filed under: Music MinuteAmerican IdolRyan SeacrestDavid HasselhoffReality TVNostalgia

Your Reaction?

It was Tribute to the '80s night on American Idol on Wednesday, so naturally David Hasselhoff just had to make an appearance.

Ryan Seacrest brought out the cultural icon to hand over the results of last week's vote, but The Hoff took the opportunity to perform a six-song medley of '80s hits!

Going into the night's double elimination, we certainly weren't expecting to see anyone from Baywatch make a cameo, but we're glad it happened.
