Oh, Paula Deen. Trouble just always seems to have a way of finding you!
The celebrity chef's Savannah, Georgia restaurant Uncle Bubba's Seafood & Oyster House (AKA the place where this whole racism fiasco began) is closed down for good!
Now this might not seem too surprising considering all of the controversy surrounding Paula, but some people who were shocked happened to be the employees who had NO idea the restaurant
This doesn't sound very appetizing!
Both Paula Deen’s Savannah restaurants, Lady & Sons, and her brother Bubba’s place, Uncle Bubba’s Oyster House, have a history of icky violations including Bubba's joint getting hit with a
The struggle is REAL, y'all!!
And of course when we say, "the struggle," we're talking about Paula Deen's issues! You know, the ones she recently compared to "that black football player" Michael Sam's!
Well the embattled chef is beginning her "comeback," but that hasn't stopped her from looking back on some of the tougher times, which she says has led to
Oh, poor Dolly!
Paula Deen is charging ahead with her "comeback," regardless of whether or not she's been putting her buttery foot in her mouth — like when she recently compared her "struggles" with "that black" gay NFL play, Michael Sam.
Are we surprised? No, that's exactly how we'd figure someone like that would operate!
We DO think she should slow it down a bit… maybe think before she speaks, holds off on going blitzkrieg trying to rebuild her empire.
Instead, she's going to burn through
COME ON, PAULA DEEN.
You've been on your "comeback" for about 30 seconds and you're already saying shizz like this?? Do you think $75 million grew on trees??
Not only did Paula compare her own "struggle" (which she earned fair and square) with Michael Sam's struggle as the first openly gay NFL hopeful — but she also found some new 'empathy' inside of her… empathy for other figures going through controversy, like that homophobic Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson!
If you've forgotten, Paula's empire came to a halt last year after she admitted to using the N-word during a trial. She's now trying to rise from the ashes like a Phoenix. A Phoenix that says horrible things from time to time.
Here's what she said:
With the millions of dollars invested in her 'comeback,' we'd say apologizing again before getting down to it is a pretty good start!
It's just too bad people don't easily forget! (We're kidding, fans forget everything if it involves celebrity!)
Paula Deen is ready to apologize for her racism scandal once again (and for all?), and she was at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival in front of hundreds of people to do just that.
Here's what she said about her hard summer:
That's a whole lotta butter!
Paula Deen is really hoping it's time to get back into the spotlight — you know, because she was making a TON of money, and when you go through a major scandal you really don't make as much!
Well, that time could be upon us: she just got a cash infusion worth at least $75 million from
