It was the most hyped episode of reality TV in years, something so controversial the show went on hiatus and was rumored to potentially not return.
And it only scored an extra 100K viewers.
Sunday was the Keeping Up With The Kardashians episode dealing with Kim Kardashian West's Paris robbery, and with the ratings for the once huge cable hit slowing way down, we were curious if the controversy would give the show a shot in the arm.

It did, a little, as the episode was up from last week's premiere numbers of 1.48 million to 1.58 million viewers.
That's a bigger jump than it seems as last season's second episode dropped 29% from the premiere; episode 1302 actually climbed about 7%, unusual for the second episode of a season.
Still, KUWTK is clearly past its heyday if 1.58 mil is all they can muster with all that buildup.

What a terribly tragic story.
As we previously reported, on Friday two deceased bodies were found in a now burned Audi belonging to Real Housewives Of New Jersey vet Kim DePaola. A few days after the vehicle was discovered, it was revealed that the police were able to identify the charred victims.
According to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, 27-year-old Aaron Anderson and 25-year-old Antonio Vega Jr. were the ones discovered inside the vehicle after being shot. Sadly, we weren't surprised to learn that Anderson was one of the victims as Miz DePaola shared he was one of the last people to drive the car.

Apparently, the Audi belonged to Kim D but was regularly used by her son, Chris Camiscioli. As the Bravolebrity dished in an interview, her son asked Aaron to drive him to the airport and then drop the car off at the house. Clearly something happened between the airport and the car drop off, as Aaron went MIA. There's no denying Kim Kardashian West has struggled with some PTSD following her traumatizing Paris robbery.
And it seems as though Keeks' family has also dealt with some anxiety surrounding their security set up as, in a sneak peek for next week's KUWTK episode, the mother-of-two and her fam deal with the aftermath of the jewelry heist. Not only does Kimmie open up about needing four security guards to sleep at night, but even Kris Jenner declares that the Kardashian-Jenners need more safety experts on hand.

It probably doesn't help that following Kim's robbery, one of the momager's other daughters, Kendall Jenner, came face-to-face with her stalker. Eek!
