Robert Downey Jr. has done an amazing job turning Iron Man into one of the most popular superheroes of all time, and he's doing it one more time in Captain America: Civil War.
Ahead of the superhero flick's Friday release, RDJ decided to stop by The Tonight Show on Thursday to show Jimmy Fallon his more somber side.
We're just kidding, he didn't take the interview seriously AT ALL! LOLz!
Jimmy did his best to compliment Robert on his acting skillz, but the Avengers star wasn't having any of it as he dished on what he hates about acting and helped coach Fallon through some dramatic scenes like if there was a zombie apocalypse!
Ch-ch-check out the HIGHlarious exchange (below) and let us know if you'll be seeing Civil War this weekend!
Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan must have made up behind the scenes. Why else would they trust them with blunt instruments already??
On Thursday morning's LIVE!, the cohosts welcomed Captain America: Civil War star Robert Downey Jr. — and in honor of Cinco de Mayo they let him take a swing at a Captain America piñata!
But when Iron Man couldn't hit the sweet spot, he stepped aside for the formerly (?) feuding hosts.
Worth noting that Michael courteously let Kelly have the first swing — and she was even looking out for him, noticing that he was standing in the path of her backswing!
Whew! Watch the close call that could have ended up in another Civil War (above)!
We weren't expecting this one!
On Wednesday, Robert Downey Jr. visited the Howard Stern to drop a bomb about his "free pass". Even though the actor is happily married to his wife Susan Downey since 2005, he as an unspoken agreement to mack on a certain actress if the opportunity arises.
Opening up to Howard about his lucky lady, the actor admitted the woman in question is actually a good friend of Susan's. Uh, awkward much?!
So, which leading lady does the poppa want to get it on with?
As Captain America: Civil War gets closer and closer to being released on May 6, we're getting all kinds of new and fun details about Marvel's cinematic universe!
Well apparently the 51-year old stud has gone back on his words a bit as he revealed during an interview with ABC's Nightline that he feels he "could do one more."
Talk about SUPER news!
Ch-ch-check out the Nightline segment (below) which features the rest of the cast of Civil War and see Robert talk about doing another Iron Man around the 3:55 mark!
Captain America: Civil War may be all about Steve, but don't be fooled — this is Robert Downey Jr.'s cinematic universe, we're all just living in it!
During a cast Q&A, a reporter asked which superhero's trailer was the biggest, which first led to fingers pointing toward Anthony Mackie!
But then everyone remembered RDJ had FIVE trailers on set!
And Tony Stark went diva as ever, joking the state of Georgia wanted to give his trailer setup its own zip code!
Ch-ch-check out the hilarious cast banter — including movie villain Daniel Brühl telling the story of being invited to the "village" for the first time (below)!
Sometimes actors are even more super than the heroes they play!
Robert Downey Jr. is no stranger to to charity and helping kids out. The superhero stud even donned a Tigger costume to cheer up a sick boy and invited the little guy to the Captain America: Civil War premiere!
Now that RDJ is making the publicity rounds to help promote Captain America's third film, he's in a very heroic mood as he stopped by the Great Ormond Street Hospital in London on Tuesday to meet some young fans!
Robert is in England for the premiere of Civil War and was kind enough to say hi to a few of his fans — including 7-year-old Ethan Miller from Southend, Essex who suffers from a a rare blood disease and type 1 diabetes. Despite Ethan's troubles, he was all smiles as he dressed up as Iron Man and snapped a pic with the 51-year-old actor (above)!
Miller's father said of his son's condition and the chance to meet RDJ:
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is expanding to an entire different studio!
Our heads were spinning after seeing Spider-Man FINALLY join his fellow Avengers in the trailer for Captain America: Civil War.
Tom Holland is already getting praise for his take on his the superhero in the upcoming film, which establishes a key relationship between Spidey and Iron Man.
And it looks like the bromance is just getting started — because Robert Downey Jr. just signed on to play Tony Stark yet again in Spider-Man: Homecoming!
This is AH-Mazing news! Not only does this mean we get more Iron Man (which is always a good thing) but also means that Sony's latest reboot of the web-slinging hero will be strongly tied to the MCU!
And it looks like Sony is really committed to making it work. RDJ's appearance in Homecoming required another round of negotiations — and we have a feeling he didn't come cheap! LOLz!
The in-demand actor, who will also be appearing in Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and Part 2, is the latest star to join the cast of Homecoming, which already includes
