We were absolutely heartbroken to learn about the terrible tragedy in Turkey.

On Tuesday, at least 36 people were killed and 147 were injured when three suicide bombers detonated explosive vests at Istanbul Ataturk Airport.

Hillary Clinton & Donald Trump React To The Airport Attack In Turkey

The 2016 presidential hopefuls are speaking out.

Turkey was rocked on Tuesday when three suicide bombers detonated their explosive vests at Istanbul Ataturk Airport, killing 36 people and injured 147 more.

Now, the US presidential hopefuls are speaking out about the terrible tragedy.

Donald Trump took to Twitter to share his sadness about the awful attack, posting:

And while we agree that we don't want such devastatingly horrible assaults happening in our country, we don't think the presumptive GOP nominee should be content with them happening outside of the US.

They shouldn't be happening anywhere, which is what Hillary Clinton stressed in her Facebook post about the sad attack.

The presumptive Democratic nominee explains that we have to work to prevent these tragedies across the globe, saying:

UPDATE 8:27 PM EST: Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim is now saying the death toll in this horrific attack has risen to 36. Turkey's Justice Minister Bekir Bozdag is also saying at least 147 people were injured in the explosions.

Binali says there's a possible ISIS connection, but authorities are still looking into the tragedy, explaining:

"The signs point to Daesh [ISIS] but the investigation is ongoing."

Our hearts go out to everyone in Turkey.


This is horrible.

On Tuesday, Istanbul Governor Vasip Sahin confirmed that at least 28 people were killed and 60 others injured after three attackers wearing explosive vests set off their bombs at Istanbul Ataturk Airport.

Turkish officials said police at the checkpoint for the airport's international terminal shot at the suspects, who then detonated their vests and killed themselves.

While most of the people who were hurt or killed in the attack were Turkish citizens, an official explained that "there are foreign nationals" among the dead and wounded.

This is absolutely awful.

On Sunday night, YouTube star Calum McSwiggan was brutally beaten outside West Hollywood's gay nightclub, The Abbey.

The LGBT lifestyle vlogger had been in Anaheim that weekend for Vidcon, and decided to wrap up the festivities with a trip to the popular WeHo hotspot.

But on Monday, the internet personality took to Instagram to share this scary selfie from his hospital bed, detailing how he was jumped in the caption, writing:

"Last night was the worst night of my life and I'm really struggling to find the words to talk about it. After one of the most wonderful weekends at VidCon we went out to a gay club to celebrate, and towards the end of the evening I was separated from my friends and beaten up by three guys."

The Brit's friend and fellow YouTuber, Riyadh Khalaf, also took to Twitter to explain what went down and just how badly Calum was beaten, writing:

Sorority Girl Sentenced To Life In Prison For Throwing Her Newborn Daughter In The Trash

This is so awful — but the sentence justly deserved.

A former sorority girl at Muskingum University in Ohio was sentenced on Monday to life in prison for killing her newborn baby daughter and then disposing of the girl's body in a sorority house trash.

21-year-old Emile Weaver was found guilty back in May of aggravated murder, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence by an Ohio jury, and yesterday's sentence will land her in prison for the rest of her life, pending appeal.

Weaver gave birth in a bathroom at her home Delta Gamma Theta sorority on Muskingum's campus on April 22 of this year, after which she put the infant in a trash bag and left her outside, where she died.

It was found soon after in the trash by other sorority members.

Through the entire trial, prosecutors have alleged that
