President Obama wants the people to rest easy for the Thanksgiving holiday.
On Wednesday morning, the president assured the citizens of the United States that there was no reason to suspect a terrorist attack comparable to the deadly Paris attacks earlier this month.
After getting an update from his national security team, POTUS assured was no "specific" threat to the US.
Speaking from the Roosevelt Room in the White House, he said:
Lil Boosie revealed that he has been diagnosed with kidney cancer in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old rapper — who has lived with diabetes for many years — asked his fans for prayers in a caption that has since been deleted:
"I need all my fans to pray for me. Doctor just told me I have cancer on my kidneys. Prayer is power that's why I'm letting the world know prayfaboosie"
Here's the original post:
The Louisiana native kept the image of him at the breakfast table, but was instructed to take down the announcement by his team, according to TMZ.
Boosie spent five years behind bars for marijuana possession and probation violation and was released in March of 2014. A year later, he became ill during a performance when his diabetes meds didn't make it to the right location.
Yikes. We hope he's alright!

Not every studio is hopping on the superhero movie bandwagon!
It's been reported that to help launch its new era of monster films, Universal is rebooting The Mummy!
And according to Variety, Tom Cruise is in talks to star in the leading role!
Last summer, the studio assembled a team of Star Trek producer Alex Kurtzman and Furious 7 writer Chris Morgan to develop a multi-film universe where Universal's classic monster movie library can be resurrected!
The studio is trying to develop a Marvel or DC Comics style universe for its famous characters — but instead of Iron Man and Thor, it will be Dracula, Frankenstein's monster, and The Wolf Man!
So basically, Universal's answer to The Avengers films is the cast of Hotel Transylvania? LOLz!
As for The Mummy reboot, Cruise will reportedly play a major part in development of the revival. The plot is still under wraps (get it?) other than that it will be set in present day, not like the previous Brendan Fraser-led installments!
Are YOU excited for classic movie monsters to make their way back to the big screen?
