This year's season of America's Got Talent crowned the ADORABLE 12-year-old Grace VanderWaal as the winner — and the little songstress is already making the talk show rounds!
In case you've been busy with all that Brangelina drama, the little ukulele player swung by Ellen DeGeneres' talk show earlier this week and dished on winning the show and her Taylor Swift comparison before performing a song!
While we absolutely LOVED Grace's performance of her original song, I Don't Know My Name, we almost loved her impersonation of Simon Cowell during her interview with Ellen even more. LOLz!
Ch-ch-check out Grace's adorably AH-Mazing performance (above), and let us know if you think she's got a future in music!
Directioners never say die!
But despite all four members diving into solo projects, their loyal fanbase started a social media frenzy on Tuesday when it appeared that the chart-topping boyband might actually be reuniting!
That's because for some reason or other, the band's website added a "future events" tab to its tour page — and 1D fans went totally ballistic!
The possibility that Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan would be performing sometime in the near future was enough to send fans into hyperdrive, generating the hashtag #ThisIsNotTheEndOfOneDirection.
Unfortunately, the excitement was short lived as the mysterious tab was removed from the website shortly after it appeared. Ugh!
Ch-ch-check out the best Twitter reactions to the fake announcement (below)!
Earlier in the week, the America's Got Talent judge dished to reporters his true feelings about his lack of involvement in the 1D members' careers since announcing their hiatus. Awkward!
The industry vet dished:
We've been wondering for a while now if Fifth Harmony is bound for a breakup.
Considering the girl group has cancelled a bunch of dates on their 7/27 Tour, and Lauren Jauregui, Normani Kordei, Dinah-Jane Hansen, and Ally Brooke Hernandez don't seem to get along with Camila Cabello, it's not entirely unlikely.
In fact, plenty of people are speculating that 5H won't even last long enough to release a third album together! Oof!
On Wednesday, The New Music Buzz caught up with Simon Cowell at the finale of America's Got Talent to ask about the fierce females' fates, since the lovely ladies are signed to the music exec's Syco label.
The TV personality said what's going on with the X Factor alums is the "same with any group." Could he be referencing Zayn Malik's desire to ditch One Direction, or the other guys wanting to explore solo ventures?!
The UK native explained:
"We have conversations about what they want to do. We gotta listen to them. It'll be fine."
While that seems reassuring to all the Harmonizers out there, the 56-year-old quickly cringed before adding:
Hmmm. Doesn't exactly sound so promising after all. Watch Simon visably grimace over the fate of Fifth Harmony (below)!
It came as no surprise to us when Grace VanderWaal won this season of America's Got Talent.
The 12-year-old ukulele player has been our favorite since she played her first original bar.
In case you didn't see all her wonderful performances this season, check them all out (below)!
Oh c'mon, you know who it is!
On Wednesday night, season 11 of America's Got Talent wrapped, which means they crowned a winner and the results should NOT surprise you at all!
They should just change the title of this season to Grace's Got Talent!
That's basically how the America's Got Talent judges felt after watching another spectacular performance from singer Grace VanderWaal on Tuesday night.
During night one of the finale, the 12-year-old ukulele player — dubbed "the next Taylor Swift" by Simon Cowell way back in her audition — closed out the show performing her flawless original song Clay!
Howie, who chose the singer as his golden buzzer contestant, even declared the tween had already won the competition, gushing:
"It's not only a song. It speaks to you. You are amazing. Grace has to win. This is my favorite moment of the night."
He's not wrong! She's AH-Mazing!
Ch-ch-check out the performance (below) and see who wins Season 11 of America's Got Talent when the live finale airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST on NBC!
