On Friday, the former One Direction star dropped his music video for his song with PARTYNEXTDOOR, titled Still Got Time. And it seems as though Gigi Hadid's boyfriend is still trying to shed that boy bander image as his new vid features booze, drugs, naked women, exotic animals, and so much more.
Ever since he debuted the song onSaturday Night Live, fans started calling out a striking similarity to Baby Blue by Badfinger, a 1972 hit that has enjoyed a bit of a resurgence since being featured on Breaking Bad (pretty much if it had the word "blue" in it, it was on Breaking Bad).
Listen to both tracks and compare for yourself (below)!
The former One Direction member was SNL's musical guest last night on a show hosted by Jimmy Fallon — we'll have all of Fallon's highlights up later this morning — and Harry KILLED it performing on the show!!
Don't just listen to us, though… watch him do it for himself!
Here he is performing his new single Sign Of The Times (below):
A streaming glitch on Spotify may jeopardize Harry Styles' chance at a number 1 debut in Australia with Sign of the Times this week. The glitch delayed when the song could be listened to on Friday. Not fair!!!
The single is also struggling in the US on iTunes, dropping fast from #1 to #7 and continuing to fall. Sad face.
The One Directioner is set to perform on SNL on Saturday though, which may give the song the boost it so sorely needs.
We're sure the 23-year-old would love to hit the #1 spot in as many countries as possible, especially since former bandmate Zayn Malik was able to debut at the top spot in both the US and UK with his single Pillowtalk back in early 2016.
The One Direction member also sent fans into a tizzy when they discovered one track titled Ever Since New York. Obviously immediate comparisons were made to Taylor Swift, with the crazed fandom wondering if the song would be about their relationship after her 1989 song Welcome To New York.
God, we can only hope. Give us the tea! Spill it! Spill that hot liquid all over our bodies!!!
Twitter is working itself into a lather as we type:
While it was first believed that Simon died in the cargo hold of a trans-continental United flight, a spokesperson for the airline defends the rabbit was alive upon landing in the Windy City. According to United rep Charles Hobart, the animal passed away in a pet holding facility at the airport. Is this their way of saying it isn't their fault??
To make matters worse, Simon's cause of death is to remain unsolved as Hobart noted:
