The fashion world has been looking forward to this day for months; but it's not just the day of the 2015 Met Gala — it's also Star Wars Day!

You know, May the Fourth Be With You?

And some of the fresh young stars from The Force Awakens decided to spend their special day getting all dolled up for the ball!

Outside that awful Stormtrooper suit, John Boyega looks pretty darn suave! He even remembered this year's color marsala on his bow tie!

And who's scruffy lookin'? OK, Domhnall Gleeson is, a bit, but it's nothing a clean-cut, traditional tux can't fix!

Even a nerf herder can look like James Bond with that kind of tailoring! LOLz!

We already saw the amazing cover featuring Harrison Ford, but now we're getting the scoop on the new characters!

As far as most Star Wars fans are concerned, Jar Jar Binks is easily the most annoying character in the entire franchise.

Some fans despise the clumsy Gungan so much, they even edited deleted scenes to make it look like he died in The Phantom Menace!

Now, Star Wars: The Force Awakens director JJ Abrams basically confirms that Jar Jar has bit the big one since we saw him last. In a recent interview, the director went behind the scenes of the upcoming seventh movie.

While watching a shot with spaceships flying low over a desert planet, Abrams pauses the scene and points to the desert ground, saying:

If you're not excited for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it's possible that there's still some good in you. But we can't feel it. LOLz!

Because this movie has our midichlorian count rising! (Yeah, we don't care if we used it wrong, midichlorians are dumb anyway.)

So when Vanity Fair dropped their cast cover — including John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, and Harrison Ford looking all smooth as Han Solo — our force got awakened all over again!
